Michael Harris


Michael Harris’ poetry has appeared in publications in Canada, France, Ireland and the U.S. He has given readings of his poetry worldwide including in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, France, England, Scotland, the U.S. and throughout Canada. A two-time winner in the CBC Literary Competition, Harris also has edited poetry books and anthologies and translated the complete poetry of Marie-Claire Blais (Veiled Countries\ Lives). He has taught poetry, literature and film courses at Dawson College, and creative writing courses at McGill and Concordia Universities. He runs www.montrealbooks.com, a rare and used Internet bookshop.
