Kate Lavut started self-publishing quirky books in 2010. She sells these at independent bookshops and fairs such as Montreal Expozine. She has written and illustrated alphabet books on different themes (cell-phone users, smokers, animals) and written a series about the time she shaved her head, dressed as a boy, and went to Mexico.
