Stephen Schecter is a Montreal sociologist. He teaches at the Université de Quebec and is a founding member of the Interdisciplinary Group on Post-Modern studies. He has written books on the city, on AIDS, and on Canada’s constitutional imbroglio. Schecter has also published short stories and poetry.
